ABOUT
Collusion is an Australian fine art music and dance ensemble. Together for 14 years, this group of award-winning chamber music musicians, in collaboration with composers and a choreographer and dancers, bring together exceptionally strong performances. Collusion is continually developing new repertoire of very high quality while underpinning its programming with heart, beauty and warmth. Flexible in size and content, collaborating to make large shows, and bespoke intimate experiences as well, Collusion fits its performances to suit its audiences.

Our Sweet Conspiracy
Collusion’s cultural practice is underpinned by a respect for traditional art forms whilst contributing new perspectives through which to experience and enjoy fine art. Whilst this intersection of new and old sensibilities informs Collusion’s original compositions and choreography, the energy of the ensemble itself imparts heart, beauty, warmth and colour. Collusion’s values balance excellence and inclusivity across its creative, commercial, educational and community-based projects. Collusion creates a magical world of imagination, engagement and immersion whether performing at cultural arts venues, for private events or in other community arts settings. Their diverse body of works offers programming suitable to audiences of all ages and cultural persuasions.

Collusion was supported by Arts Queensland in 2016/17, and was supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland for projects in 2014 and 2015. Collusion's Chamber Ballet DESIRELINES was assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.

In 2017 Collusion welcomed presentation partnerships with Alara Qld, Clear Horizons Inc, the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery, New Move Network, Queensland Ballet, KMP Artists and Strings At Hand. Benjamin Greaves was supported by the Queensland Government and by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts for professional development in 2017.

In 2018 Collusion presented their latest chamber ballet Turbine at MELT Festival in May, and toured internationally in the second half of that year.
