Leigh has an extensive career in fashion culminating in his success as the Project Runway Australia, Season 1 Runner Up. Since then he has focussed on an atelier of bespoke creations for personal clients, film, and theatre.

His designs have appeared in films including My Mistress by designer Angus Srathie, Costumier to Emmanuelle Beart on Unbroken by director Angelina Jolie, and was Costume Designer for God, I Love You.

His personal clients include Tina Arena, Meow Meow, Annie Lee, Vogue Italia, and Topology. He has designed for productions including Spring Awakening - Oscar Theatre Company, and Wuthering Heights - Shake and Stir Theatre Company, and worked as a Cutter/Costume Maker for Queensland Theatre Company, Opera Queensland and Harvest Rain.
