Viola

Bethan Lewis is a freelance violist working in Australia and the UK and has performed with the Whitlams, Jherek Bischoff, Hans Zimmer, Missy Higgins, Diana Krall, Kathryn Jenkins, Paolo Nutini and Sharleen Spiteri.

She worked on the Hofesh Schecter Dance Company’s Survivor and Political Mother Choreographer’s Cut projects and with Tango Siempre on their Tangents project/CD with Gilad Atzmon.

Bethan toured for many years as principal violist for Mid Wales Opera and other chamber opera orchestras including Opera Project. She was a member of the chamber group Orchestra of the Swan.

Orchestral work includes the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Scottish Symphony, English Chamber Orchestra, Australia Symphony Orchestra (principal), Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and RTE National Symphony Orchestra.
